Workshops in forum theatre will be carried out in 3 classrooms with 15 young students from 15 to 18 years old from each class. These activities will be done in one school from Madrid, Spain, one school from Barcelona, Spain, and one from Bucharest, Romania, over a period of 6 months. The main objective of the workshops will be to create a theatre play. Workshops will be divided in two parts: the first one, that will last 5 sessions, will consist on preparatory sessions in which experts in GBV will help the young students discuss relevant topics and develop the plot of the play; the second part will last 10 sessions and will be dedicated to rehearsal of the play. Tours of the forum theatre performances will be carried out in Spain and Romania and will be followed by related debates with students, parents and school staff.
In Aarhus, Denmark, visual arts workshops will be done with young students from 5 schools over a period of 6 months. The workshops will be focused on the creation of works by the students to be shown at the exhibition in the Kvindemuseet (Women’s Museum). Workshops will be divided in two parts as well: the first one, that will last 5 sessions, will be focused to address and discuss relevant topics related to GBV with the students; the second part, that will last 10 sessions, will be dedicated to the production of works by the students that will later be shown at the exhibition.
Moreover, an exhibition kit will be developed, and will include copies of all videos produced within the project in order to allow replication in other cities/countries.
