On the occasion of Women’s Day, on 8 March, the girls and boys of the INS Bernat Metge will premiere their play “Sexism also parties”, created within the framework of the DECIDES Europe project.
The play addresses the issue of gender-based violence through various everyday scenes and how to counter them; the labels, gender roles or social pressure to which girls are subjected.
The play will be performed in for the students from other schools in the San Martí district and it is also part of the billboard of the Teatre DistrictArt Festival, which will be held on 26 and 27 June.

The DECIDES Europe project which started in September 2018 and will end in September 2020 is implemented by Interarts and Trabe (Spain), Transcena (Romania) and Kvindemuseet i Danmark (Denmark). It is co-financed by the European Union’s Equality, Rights and Citizenship programme.
